I sure hope you didn't miss HE2003. Out of all the shows to date, I am really proud of our presence at HE03 because we had the opportunity to bring you one of the best Jazz sextet in existence today, the Carl Saunders Sextet!

In this event co-sponsored by some great names in high-end audio industry and ourselves, we got to bring you the Carl Saunders sextet in a 2 hour free concert on Friday June 6th at 5h30pm in Union Square Park, San-Fransisco. And as always they were great!! From left to right, in the picture above you'll recognize Christian Jacob, Piano - Andy Martin, Trombone - Kevin Axt, Bass - Carl Saunders, Trumpet - Santo Savino, Drums and  Jerry Pinter, Saxophone.

I am proud, not only because we had to opportunity to bring you this fantastic concert but also because we got to do it with some great names which I am glad to know.

But here's the best news; if you missed this once in a life time concert, we are going to make a DVD of it! That's right Jim Merod of BluePort Jazz, one of the greatest recording geniuses of our times recorded the audio while his daughter, along with Steve McCormack and myself put on our cameramen hats and made sure to record this moment of Jazz history. Something to look for on the BluePort Jazz recording label.

Here are a couple more mementos of this unforgetable evening. In the mean time, we'll keep trying to make music sound always more real.... the way music should sound!
